Bed and breakfast

Here we are in the depths of the countryside, close to the lakes, heaths and moors of Campine. This long farmhouse has been restored with great good taste, and has a wing reserved for guests, comprising a huge lounge with an open fireplace, a dining room and a kitchen-cum-bar on the ground floor and four beautiful bedrooms upstairs. The bedrooms are named "Earth", "Clay", "Pigeon" and "Bull" and are spacious and prettily furnished. Each is decorated in shades of a single colour. High-quality materials have been used for the decoration and furnishings, including oak furniture, linen sheets and natural-pigment paint for the walls. The results are spectacularly good! While Ellen takes care of the B&B business, Chris looks after around a thousand sheep, which graze in the local nature reserves, as well as breeding border collie sheepdogs, which work with him and the sheep. He will happily demonstrate sheep-herding using the dogs or his dog-training techniques on request! An establishment full of excellent things in a region that deserves to be better known.
