This Neo-Classical townhouse, typical of Bruges, is located 200m from the main square. To the rear, a lovely small garden leads to a Renaissance-style former school with a delightful pedimented porch. The owners have converted the entire second floor into guest rooms. A wide, wooden, spiral staircase sweeps up to a landing lit from above by a charming glass cupola. The rooms are spacious and filled with light, soberly decorated with a private bathroom. Two of the rooms overlook the garden and the third overlooks the street. Breakfast is served in a small dining-room overlooking the street. As Inne Gheeraert works in the museum at Ostendot, it will often be her mother (who ran this B&B for 17 years) who welcomes you and serves you breakfast.An excellent, very central base from which to explore Bruges.
