Bed and breakfast
Every house has its own history, but this one has more than most! The chateau was built in 1870 and was purchased in 1921 by Edmond Cordier, an internationally-renowned paediatrician. He built a clinic in the village and now the street is named after him. Patricia and Frédéric are the fourth generation of the de Schrevel family to live in the chateau, which is filled with furniture, antiques, paintings and engravings which trace the history of the building and the family. As the chateau was too big for the needs of the family, they decided to convert part of it to accommodate guests who can enjoy the greenery of Auderghem near Brussels. A huge, comfortable suite is located on the second floor of the tower, with two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and kitchen-diner, where breakfast is prepared by Patricia each morning, unless you'd prefer to prepare it yourself. Guests staying in the other large guest room with en-suite bathroom on the same landing take breakfast in one of the dining rooms downstairs. The lovely park, filled with ancient trees and huge, sumptuous rhododendrons is a delightful place to share a welcome drink on arrival in the warmer months. A pretty and friendly establishment in a quiet location on the outskirts of the city.
