Bed and breakfast

You will feel really at home in this ancient village house tastefully converted into a B&B by Géry and Roberto. Located below the castle in the heart of the village of Cesseras, the house contains a series of closed and open spaces, courtyards and terraces which allow guests to select the best place for the time of day or the season, be it the sunny south-facing terrace, the cosy lounge or the cool dining room. Roberto and Géry both trained as artists and are very good with their hands: they have restored this house and decorated it with care, using soft and warm hues and surfaces, including home-made tiles, plus paintings, ornaments and furniture picked up in antique shops and markets here and there. They re-arrange and change the decoration regularly, as their B&B develops and new ideas come along. And, of course, they are both excellent cooks! They are currently busy working on the conversion of their attic into a painting studio, where they will soon offer painting lessons and courses. A delightful, top-quality place in the beautiful Minervois region, set amid vineyards and mountains, close to Carcassonne.
