Bed and breakfast

On the village square in Couthuin, the old brewery has made way for a beautiful B&B. The building is in the traditional Hesbaye style, and consists of a central block, set slightly back from two symmetrical flanking pavilions. Behind the building is a large terrace and a huge garden. Upstairs are two tastefully-furnished and decorated bedrooms, the "Valentine" room in shades of ochre and beige with a double bed and a small, pretty bathroom, and the "Pauline" room which is smaller, decorated in shades of grey, with a beautiful Italian shower. The two rooms benefit from a huge reading or relaxation room with a fridge and coffee machine and private access. Breakfast is served in a small room overlooking the garden, and includes home-made jams, local cheeses and cooked meats and lovely bread from the baker's opposite. A warmly welcoming address located in the peace and quiet of the countryside, but only a short drive from the Namur to Liège motorway.
