Bed and breakfast

This superb B&B is located on one beautiful avenue of Le Coq-sur-Mer and certainly stands out! Built in 1929 by the architect Vaerwyck as a holiday home, to a design strongly influenced by the English architect Lutyens, this villa has just undergone a thorough restoration and redecoration by its new owner, Jan Vermast. Having previously worked in the hotel business, Jan and his partner (a teacher) were able to make their dream of owning a B&B come true. As soon as you cross the threshold, you get the impression of being in an English country house. There is a big lounge with an open fireplace, antique furniture, magazines, a grand piano and a drink waiting for you! The sumptuous breakfasts are served on a large mahogany table in the neighbouring room, or on the terrace overlooking the garden in fine weather. Upstairs, the three guest rooms are decorated with tartan, bronze beds and chintz wallpaper, which creates a warm atmosphere. Every detail of the decor has been chosen with care, and the ornaments have been chosen to go with the themes of the rooms. In another part of the house is a family suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge, a kitchen and a private terrace. Jan Vermast's careful decorative schemes have restored the house to its former glory. A very beautiful establishment in the pretty seaside resort of Le Coq-sur-Mer, ideal for lovers of comfort, luxury and good taste.
