Bed and breakfast

For many years, Monica and her husband dreamed about opening a B&B, but it wasn't until they had the opportunity to buy this beautiful belle-epoque house that they were able to make their dream come true. Having studied hotel management, she knew what she was letting herself in for! Both Monica and her husband love meeting their guests and making them feel at ease. The Villa Vrehoek has had quite a makeover. The guest bedrooms are filled with daylight and have touches of colour that are repeated in the modern bathrooms, while retaining the original Jugendstil and Art Deco features. Breakfast is served in the dining room and its walk-through verandah, with an old hairdresser's cabinet serving as a sideboard. On the first floor is a charming guest suite, comprising bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. On the second floor are three guest bedrooms with private bathroom. Your host is a bit of a wine buff and will happily invite you to join him for a wine-tasting. Ellecom is a delightful spot for nature lovers, close to the Posbank nature reserve and the Hoge Veluwe nature park.
