Bed and breakfast
Well hidden behind the abundant greenery of the pretty district of Linkebeek, this B&B offers a welcome oasis of peace after a busy day in the city! Its Cubist rooms date from the 1920s and the yellow-rendered outside walls certainly make it stand out. Your hosts are also outstanding people too - they are both research marine biologists who have travelled the world and have plenty of travellers' tales. The house is filled with objects and photos from their expeditions. The guest rooms are in an annexe behind the house, with its own fitted kitchen, dining room area and bathroom downstairs and the bedroom and office area upstairs. Guests are thus assured complete privacy and can have breakfast when they like. At weekends, you will be invited to join your hosts in their home for breakfast. The buildings are surrounded by a charming garden, which includes an orchard, a vegetable patch and a vineyard. The fruit produced here is made into delicious jam by Myriam or wine, sparkling wine or cider by Philippe. Although the atmosphere is delightfully rural, you can quickly get to the city centre if required, as Linkebeek station is a short distance away.
