It dates back to 1588, but there was a house belonging to the Knights Templar on this site in the fourteenth century. A pretty park is located behind the house with a pond with a fountain, meadow and lake. The car park and entrance for guests is on one side of the castle. You enter via a superb entrance hall painted bright red which leads to the breakfast room and the guest bedrooms, or rather suites. The ground-floor suite has a small lounge area and its own private entrance. The first-floor suites share a games or reading room. One has a bedroom with a double bed and a single sofa bed, the other has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, sharing a bathroom. Breakfast is served in the large dining room on separate tables and includes fresh fruit juices, bread, cakes and home-made jams, cheese and cooked meats. From the house, you can follow the Grande Randonnée footpath, or cycle along the Ravel cycle trail.
