Bed and breakfast
This B&B is situated in another corner of Normandy, the "Vexin normand", East of Rouen, not far from Giverny. It is a region rich in historic buildings, castles, abbeys, gardens and villages, including St Denis-le-Ferment, with its mediaeval origins, whose pretty houses run along the bank of the River Lévrière, after which this delightful B&B is named. The guest rooms are located in the wings of the building which surround a courtyard, and are simple but comfortable, each with an en-suite bathroom. They are named after the footpaths which pass the house: "La Reine Clémence", "La Reine Blanche" and "La Planche Renard". Guests also have access to a lovely lounge, a dining room and a kitchen, as well as the large back garden which spans the river. Bicycles are available for guests to explore the local countryside.
