Bed and breakfast
This B&B is on the outskirts of the hamlet of Laneuville-au-Bois and is surrounded by meadows, on the edge of the woods. Bernard and Delphine chose to move to this beautiful part of the Ardennes and to build their own house. The building has a wooden frame and was built using environmentally-friendly, low-energy materials. One part of the house is given over to the B&B guests, with, on the ground floor, a lovely living room, with a large table and a wood-burning stove. Upstairs is a lounge with views over the neighbouring countryside and four bedrooms, one of which is a two-bedroom family suite with a bathroom. The bedrooms' wood-panelling and pretty red quilts give them an air of a mountain chalet. They are all decorated and furnished in a similar vein, and the photos and engravings on the walls recall their names: "Fox", "Stag", "Squirrel" and "Wild Boar". Families with young parents are particularly welcome, and your hosts offer a complete set of baby equipment. If you'd like to relax after a walk in the forest, there is also a sauna. There are plenty of options for walks, deer-watching, mushroom-picking or fishing in the lake, and any produce caught or gathered will be transfomed into a delicious meal by Bernard, who studied at a hotel & catering college.
