Bed and breakfast

Hidden behind a romantic garden where flowers and vegetables are harmoniously blended together, this pretty house was once the lodge to a ninteenth-century villa, built just outside the hamlet of Visé, close to the banks of the River Meuse. The guest suite is in a separate part of the building with its own entrance. It is made up of a dining room, a small lounge with a sofa-bed, a bedroom and a bathroom. The decoration throughout is carefully tasteful, as much for the choice of furniture and soft furnishings as for the colour of the walls. Breakfast is served in the dining room and is made using fresh, local, organic produce. It can also be served out in the garden in the warmer months. A delightfully calm base from which to explore the Herve region, the Dutch Limburg province or the princely city of Liège.
