Bed and breakfast
The village of Vresse-sur-Semois is well-known for its river, its tobacco and its painters. The Hôtel De La Dîme, now converted into a B&B, is pleased to welcome many artists as guests. The new owners have refurbished the building while retaining many original features that gave the old building its atmosphere: the wood-panelling, furniture and old photos on the walls give the place a nostalgic feel. The bedrooms, which have all been recently renovated and redecorated, are spread over the upper floors and share a bathroom between two rooms. The bathrooms retain period touches such as blue-and-white tiling, free-standing baths and old-fashioned washbasins. Buffet breakfasts are served in the former restaurant on the ground floor. Next to the breakfast room is the guests' lounge with television and an internet connection. There is also a terrace at the front of the house and a back garden overlooking the River Petit Fays. A simple but friendly, and above all, good-value establishment !
